Surrounded on the three sides, Mandla is a tribal town situated on the arc of the Narmada river. The holy river is worshipped by the local people. Various ghats are constructed on the banks of the river which has religious significance. Mandla was the capital of the Gondwana dynasty and has an eminent history. Located at a distance of 34km, this place is renowned for marvellous forts, culture, and lush green landscape. If caving and rock shelters excite you, Mandla should be on your itinerary.
