Irai dam is an earth-fill dam built on the banks of the Irai river in Maharashtra. It is 30 m in height and 1620 m in length. The Irai river is a tributary of the Wardha River and serves as a lifeline to the locals of Chandrapur. The dam is one of the popular tourist destinations of Maharashtra since it allows many breathtaking views to be captured.
