Baghel Museum showcases the rich history from the time of Maharaja Rewa. It preserves and displays the belongings of the Maharaja. Various ancient equipment which was used for hunting is here at the display.
The museum owns silver and gold artefacts in addition to a unique collection of antiques, glass items, paintings and other rare articles. One of the most notable attractions of this museum is the stuffed body of a white tiger called Mohan, which was spotted by the Maharaja of Rewa. The locals say that the white tiger, Mohan, can still be found in the forest and at the museum, who was captured by Maharaja Martand Singh.
Tourists love to visit this place in addition to the Bandhavgarh National Park. The museum is open from November to June and the usual visiting hours are 10 am to 3 pm and 5 pm to 8 pm.
