Nagarhole National Park

The Safari Model of Nagarhole is very different as compared to other national parks in India. Wherein there is no government-run safari booking portal or booking counter at the park gate. The detailed description is below:

• Gypsy & Boat Safari: Bookings for the same are controlled by JLR(Jungle lodges & resorts). Wherein either you stay at their resorts/lodges and book packages which include safari's or when you book with other hotels, make sure you take the safari included package. However, there is no guarantee as to how many gypsy/ boat safari you would get. It can be 2 gypsy safari's or 1 gypsy and 1 boat safari for standard 1-night booking, depending on the demand.
  • The maximum no. of pax allowed in a gypsy safari is 6. However, on high demand days, it can increase up to 8.
  • The maximum no. of pax allowed in a boat safari is 16 to 18. 
• Canter Safari: The same can be booked at the park gates, as these are managed by the government.
