Flora
There can be four types of vegetation at Kaziranga National Park due to the difference between the altitudes of the eastern and the western areas of the park. These are alluvial inundated grasslands, alluvial savanna woodlands, tropical moist mixed deciduous forests, and tropical semi-evergreen forests. Some famous varieties of trees that can be found here are Kumbhi, Indian gooseberry, cotton tree, and elephant Apple. Additionally, a wide variety of aquatic flora can also be seen along the river shores, lakes, and ponds.
