Gir National Park is open from 15th October to 15hth June, with a 15 day late and early opening and closing possibility depending on the weather conditions. Hence, before you book your park safari, contact your hotel and get clarification of the safari situation if you plan on visiting the park in the 1st week of October or the last week of June.

Gir National Park: Is closed for tourism between 1st July to 30th September every year due to heavy monsoon.
Devalia Interpretation Zone Safari Park: This is closed for tourism between 1st July to 30th September every year due to heavy monsoon. And during the tourism seasons, the interpretation zone is closed every Wednesday.
